Saubermacher-Hungary Kft. has opened a new site in Hungary

Thanks to our continuously developing technologies and complex industrial waste management services over the past three decades, we have become one of the key players in the circular economy. Our continuous innovations enable more and more secondary raw materials to be returned to the cycle.

Our new waste treatment plant in Kecskemét, where hazardous and non-hazardous waste is collected, pre-treated, and recycled, also serves this purpose.

As the company’s logistics and plastics processing center, we employ nearly 90 people at the new Saubermacher site in Kecskemét.

The 1.5 billion forint investment received 255,914,000 forint in non-repayable state aid under the competitiveness support program.

With this investment, the group is now able to provide comprehensive services for institutional waste generated in the region on a 3-hectare site. The Saubermacher Group handles over 220,000 tons of material flow annually, of which 30,000 tons are linked to the Saubermacher site in Kecskemét.

At the official ceremony, Dr. László Palkovics, Minister of Technology and Industry, Dr. Andor Nagy, Hungarian Ambassador to Vienna, and KR Hans Roth, founder of the Saubermacher Group, inaugurated the site by planting a tree together.
